'Obscene rhyming couplet'

DIRTY TRICKS blared the front-page headline of the local Northern News this week:
The game of politics got dirtier last week when an electronic billboard on Windsor Road promoting Independent MP Steven Pringle was electronically sabotaged with the wording altered to an obscene rhyming couplet.
The message flashed from outside Mr. Pringle’s Rouse Hill campaign office originally read: "Vote 1 Steven Pringle" but 33,000 motorists were surprised to see the message "Steven Pringle can s…k my dingle, ha, ha, ha" on Monday last week.
An early morning commuter rang Mr. Pringle’s wife.
"She in turn rang me," Mr. Pringle said. "Then we tried to find out how you turn it off and that took a while to achieve. The police were called and fingerprints taken."
Somebody check Karl Rove's passport ...
