In an apparent bid to top the infamous HEADLESS BODY IN TOPLESS BAR NY Post headline from the early '80s, the Sydney Morning Herald today scrapes bottom with a story headlined DEAF BLACK LESBIAN ACCUSED OF CHAINSAW MURDER.
Let's hope tomorrow's Herald includes this headline: FULLY SENTIENT YET BRAIN-DEAD WHITE HETEROSEXUAL NEWS EDITOR AXED FROM SMH STAFF.
UPDATE: The header's been changed -- as of 9 pm Tuesday night, it reads LESBIAN ACCUSED OF CHAINSAW MURDER. Because, you know, sexual orientation is always THE key component of a chainsaw murderer's disposition.
