Lunar intruder

The moon is more than an astronomical second cousin in the Australian sky. It's a peephole into a Kubrick-esque soundstage. It's a State Trooper's flashlight on a sleepy residential street after two-for-one margarita night. It's a bulb that won't blink at the top of your Christmas tree. It's 14 sparklers crackling and spitting in your hand on July 4th. It's a disco ball. Exploding. Very, very slowly.
