City Extra

That's the view from my table here at City Extra in Parramatta. Wireless internet is an exotic luxury in Australia, but City Extra provides it for paying customers (as does the nearby Mars Hill Cafe, which unfortunately doesn't open until 5).

Stray thoughts ...
  • A tornado in Brooklyn? Could this lead to 'Twister II' being a Spike Lee 'joint'?
  • Guy in a Red Sox jersey lights up across the street, and I hope he chokes. Even if I live in the land of cricket, two kinds of footy, the Socceroos, and motorsports up the ying yang, my heart still seethes with loathing towards all things BoSox.
  • Aradhna and I recently saw a Hindi film called Gandhi My Father. Beautifully shot, perfectly acted, and rife with universal truths about parents & children, it deserves a worldwide audience.
  • Open-air cafes, warm sun, cool air, fresh breeze ... I love winter down unda.
