Sitting on a high stool at the front window of St Kilda's Galleon Cafe. I've gotten to know a waiter here who hails from Vancouver and remembers with bitter clarity Game 7 of the 1994 Stanley cup playoffs. As the Rangers have beaten the Devils to advance in this year's playoffs, I thought I'd don my #11 Rangers jersey for the occasion (above photo, in front of St Kilda's iconic Luna Park) and make him revisit the Canucks defeat to Messier, Leetch, Richter & Co.
