Is this enough?

An 11-month-old casualty of Robert Mugabe's reign of terror sits on the floor of a refugee center in Zimbabwe. The little boy's father is an organizer for Zimbabwe's opposition party. His legs were broken when a member of Mugabe's 'youth army' grabbed him from his bed and smashed him to a concrete floor. The baby's mother carried him 12 miles to the opposition's headquarters, which is bursting with refugees whose lives are in danger for supporting Mugabe's opponent, Morgan Tsvangirai.

Where are the self-appointed champions of 'liberty' and 'freedom'? How do they justify paying lip service to crippled babies and the bludgeoning of democratic rule?

What does it take to make an oil-addicted world take action against human suffering on such a grand scale?
