Never mind.

Like TV dinners of old, today's digital information age makes it quick and easy to fleece media consumers into believing their ingesting actual news. The latest version of journalistic Salisbury Steak is the recently reported 'discovery' of a heretofore unknown tribe in a Brazilian rainforest, shown above.

Oops ... turns out existence of the tribe has been known since -- try to guess: 2000? 1985?? 1950???? No. Actually, since 1910. The photographer wanted to draw attention to the threat posed by unregulated logging in rainforests along the Brazilian-Peruvian border. A worthy cause, of course. But also a global news hoax, and a further bloodying of the MSM's already pulverized nose.
