That sounds about right to me.
Watching Obama's speech, even from so far away, I feel part of something uniquely American. I understand why nearly everyone I've met in my travels has stressed their love for the United States (and disgust with Bush/Cheney). Being an American means something. Obama makes me feel proud, hopeful. Obama makes me miss home.
John McCain makes me look forward to qualifying for an Australian passport.
