Fiji Redux: Arrival

My most recent Fiji adventure began a month ago today. Now that I'm back in Australia -- and working on marketing strategies for the Fiji Backpackers Association, an unexpected bonus that originated with a stay at Errol Fifer's Nadi Bay Resort Hotel -- I've had time to review nearly 600 photos. The one above was taken shortly after arriving at Nadi Bay, where I stayed the night I landed at the nearby int'l airport.

Working from home means spending the bulk of my days with Oscar & Theo, a pair of cats Aradhna and I adopted in February. I was already missing them by the time I got to Fiji, so it was remarkable that within minutes of sitting down to write at Errol's place that this cat, named Kimba, hopped into my lap and began purring away. Even more than a cold Fiji Bitter, it was just what I needed.
No better place to be on a balmy Fiji morning than poolside at Nadi Bay.
