Private jet.

So much has happened since my last blog post ... will fully recap with photos when I get back to Australia.

For now I'm back in hot and dry Sigatoka. Day began on an island that sees dawn's light before anyplace else on the planet: Taveuni, Fiji's 'Garden Island'. Stayed for 2 days after arriving by a ramshackle ferry on Tuesday, but a place that beautiful and inaccessible deserves much more time. Hope to take Aradhna there someday.

Was supposed to fly from Taveuni to Labasa and then Nadi. This being Fiji, I waited an extra 90 minutes and flew from Taveuni to Suva instead. All was forgiven when everyone but me got off the tiny plane and onto the tarmac at Suva. I had a private jet! Views of multi-colored coral reefs were amazing over sea, and just as beautiful over the jungles of eastern Vitu Levu and highlands of the west. Caught a ride from a guy on his way back to Sigatoka from Nadi. He only asked for the price of bus fare, $6. That's the way it happens in Fiji.

Sega na leqa .............
