Melbourne's blessed with an unblemished sky and civilized breeze on this perfect summer day but I'd opt for a pre-Christmas snowstorm (above) anytime. Blazing flora (below) along the sidewalks of Balaclava & Elsternwick offers marvelous compensation, however.
