I've lived in Australia for over 3 years and have come to enjoy its sports landscape of footy (2 different kinds), cricket and international football (soccer). But Jesus, I miss hockey.
So it was good to see Mark Messier's been hired by the Rangers to be club president Glen Sather's 'special assistant'. The Captain was a savior in 1994; can he do it again someday looking down from on high at the Garden?
