More Melbourne minutiae.

My wife is a patient woman. Which is good, as whenever we take a stroll together she's forced to wait as I snap photos of the most benign things (like the autumn colors of an Elwood maple tree shown above). My eyes love Melbourne -- lack of a decent camera be damned.
A small reserve in Elwood, one of Melbourne's most desirable bayside locales.

An approximation of 'New York' -- or, more accurately, the Hollywood version of Manhattan -- is a common selling point among property dealers.

Walking from Elwood to St Kilda along the promenade.

Trees are serious business in the City of Port Phillip (which includes St Kilda & Elwood, among others). This one's public declaration of being '100% dead' was surrounded by stapled pleas from residents wanting to turn it into a public art piece and, thus, be left untouched by chainsaw-wielding city workers.

Entrance to St Kilda's beloved Luna Park.

My view of City Hall and Carlisle Street from inside St Kilda's public library.
