Been terribly delinquent in reporting my whereabouts this holiday season.
Short answer: Working in Suva for a small web shop called Webmedia Fiji.
Longer answer: Working on a project for Tourism Fiji called 'Fiji for the Holidays' that's seen me and a colleague named Prayush traveling to ten resorts throughout the Fiji Islands in 12 days, with New Year's Eve in Suva a bacchanalian bonus. Writing now at the last, most posh and least appealing place of all called Warwick Resort & Spa on the Coral Coast. Being treated to another spectacular Fijian sunset but as ugly families and sleazy Aussies aren't my thing I'm eager to return to Suva tomorrow morning and produce the remaining deliverables.
Those deliverables include a daily blog with photos for the Tourism Fiji website and a 'Fiji for the Holidays' YouTube video channel. We'll also produce collateral for the individual resorts and service providers we've had the pleasure of receiving free accommodation, meals and 'adventures' from.
Our itinerary has included Savusavu on Christmas Eve, Malololailai Island in the Mamanuca Group on Christmas Day, Malolo Island, Nadi, Pacific Harbour on New Year's Day and the Coral Coast.
Top photo was taken during a jungle trek that's one of the daily activities offered by The Beachouse on the Coral Coast.
