Palm-sized joey.

Gale-force winds and possum joeys make for busy days at Wildlife Victoria. This little one will be raised by a carer in Wonga Park, northwest of Melbourne, before being released when she's old enough to survive in the wild -- or, more accurately, Melbourne's ever-encroaching suburbs.

If you live in Victoria, please keep an eye out for our neighbours in the trees. Call 13 000 94535 to report an animal in distress.
