Nils Lofgren channels the power of Prince.

Whatever molten forces that too rarely erupt at concerts coalesce in this clip of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performing Prince's 'Purple Rain' at Brooklyn's Barclays Center two days after the Purple One's sudden passing on April 21 at the age of 57. Bruce and the band have mourned too many in this fashion over the years -- David Bowie and Glenn Frey on this tour alone -- but Nils Lofgren's solo made this tribute explode across social media in a way the others didn't.

I dare you not to feel chills.
