While speaking with a friend named Michael the subject of this blog came up. Specifically, he wondered if the dearth of updates meant I'd passed away. In a world of uncertainty and swirling dark forces I can confidently state that as I write this I am NOT deceased. I could guarantee my death would be treated with ghoulish glee if after posting this I walked out of Uffizi Cafe in Caulfield -- this morning's 'coffice', a horrific term recently trotted out on an Aussie TV show to describe coffee-serving establishments where freelancing professionals like myself do business -- and be hit by a tram. Ex-Pat Brags of Sentience Before Dying. Too high-brow. Oh the Irony! Bragging Yank Off-ed By #3 Tram.
The photo atop this post was taken Saturday at Kathryn & Patrick's wedding in Bundoora. I'd gone up to their place the weekend before to help Patrick finish a roofed deck, where the ceremony was held. Kathryn & Patrick (shown here exchanging vows on Saturday)are a one-in-22-million couple who go overboard to ensure all visitors to their home have a great time. We did, and hope they enjoy a similarly uproarious lifetime together. More photos of the wedding may be found here.
Since returning from Fiji I've built a website for Interactive Intuition, my freelance copywriting and web content/strategy business. The site's unfinished as of this writing but if you're reading this you're a trusted friend ... so I'd appreciate any and all feedback regarding its usability, appeal, clarity, etc.
