Beachcomber Island
Last Sunday -- the day before I left Sigatoka for Nadi -- Sidharth, Akash, Ranish and I took a day trip to Beachcomber Island, shown above. Fun was had by all ...
The island, part of Fiji's Mamanuca Group, is a tear-drop of white sand on a turquoise palette.
Didn't realize Beachcomber bills itself as a 'party island' until setting eyes on this giant beach bar, which thankfully also sells ice cream.
Heard these girls talking on the boat, sounded like home. Westchester County, NY -- close enough. Their camera died on the island, so this photo is proof they were there.
On the boat heading back to Port Denarau.
