My niece, Amanda Courtney Wall, with her daughter Avery Mae, born Thursday morning in east Tennessee.I'm strapped for time at the moment but it doesn't matter blog-wise because my niece becoming a mom and my brother Kevin becoming a grandfather are practically unfathomable. Unfathomable because the resultant tsunami of emotions, memories, thoughts, regrets and hopes for mother and daughter render me a stone.
My beautiful 'little' brother, to be forever known to Avery Mae as 'Pop-Pop'.
All I can do from so far away is wish everyone good health. And tell y'all how much I love you.

Boy, time does fly, remember walking up to see you and your brother and niece back in 1989 when I lived in Boonton and he was renting a house up the street from me- and she was a little baby-
And, there she is, with a little baby- my God- the circle of life keeps a spinning. Congrats.
