Behind a drum kit on Bourbon Street.

"Any musicians out there?"

I wave a hand in front of my face, a universal sign of "Eh".

Troy Turner of the Troy Turner Blues Band gestures me to the stage of a Bourbon Street joint called My Bar @ 635..

Before you know it I'm behind a drum kit for the first time in 10 years playing with a guy who once played beside Stevie Ray Vaughan.

And wishing I'd more than a double shot of Jack Daniels in my system.

Wow Joe! That was fan-freakin'-tastic.

Loved seeing you play...you seemed very happy there. Would never have known it's been 10 years and you should make sure it's not 10 more! What a fun trip you and Aradhna had....thanks for sharing!!

All the best,
Chandani

That was a hoot! Your original training kit remains still assembled in my basement- you haven't lost a thing!
